Reliance Natural Resources Limited (RNRL) has informed to the NSE and BSE that: “The rumours of an imminent out-of-court settlement with RIL on our gas supply dispute are completely baseless and speculative”.
The above clarification follows a rumour in the Indian capital markets yesterday and today that some sort of out of court settlement is being worked out between Anil Ambani (RNRL) and Mukesh Ambani (RIL).
Alstom Projects India Limited has informed the Exchange that “ALSTOM Projects India Limited (“APIL”) has been awarded contracts worth Rs. 365 crores by Hindalco Industries Ltd. for Supply & installation of four gas treatment plants in India. Under the terms of said contracts, APIL will design, engineer, supply, install and commission two gas treatment plants each at the Mahan and Aditya aluminium smelters located in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Orissa. The plants, due onstream in early 2012 will capture, filter & recycle corrosive gas produced by the smelters, notably hydrogen fluoride, improving air quality and thus conforming to the environmental requirements”.
NTPC Limited has informed the NSE that: “A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed on 9th November 2009 at New Delhi amongst Government of Madhya Pradesh, NTPC Limited and Madhya Pradesh Power Trading Company Ltd for setting up of 4×660 MW (2640 MW total installed capacity) coal based thermal power project in Narsinghpur District Madhya Pradesh, by NTPC as a regional project of NTPC, subject to establishment of its techno-commercial viability.” Continue reading NTPC Signs MOU With Madhya Pradesh Power Trading Company For 2640 MW Thermal Power Project→
